Tip of the Week 12

Every anglers dream is to be out on the water, but when is the best time to be out on the water?  The one thing that has the biggest effect on this are the phases of the moon. When there is a new moon, the fish will be most active during the day time and the best time to fish will be during the hour before sunset. This is due to the fact that during a new moon there will be no light at night for the fish to see, which will make it hard for them to feed. The opposite is true of a full moon. During a full moon the best times to fish will be early in the morning and late at night because there will be lots of light provided by the full moon. With this said, the best time to go fishing, in general ,is the crack of dawn and an hour before sunset. This tip will help you know when to fish and will help to increase your chances of catching fish on the water.
